Cedric's First Baseball Game

A few weeks ago now Cedric went to his first baseball, the Royals vs Red Sox at Fenway Park. Not a bad first game, if I do say so myself. We did stay true to our roots and cheered for the Royals. We even all wore new KC shirts.

Cedric and I arrived around the 4 inning, after his nap. He really seemed mesmerized by all of the people and the noise.

It was colder in the shade than we thought it would be. Luckily we had some extra gear to bundle Cedric up. PS - Check out the Tom Mason photo bomb :)

Dad had tickets for the whole series, so went to the emotional Saturday game - complete with Neil Diamond performing "Sweet Caroline" and a Boston win. The city really needed it. Sunday was a double header making up for the missed game on Lockdown Friday. We were able to cheer on two Royals wins on Sunday - we must have been good luck!

Dad's trip felt quick, so much happened in such a short period of time. Hopefully next time he comes we can get out into the city a bit more. Cedric had a nice time hanging out with his Grandpa!

  2. I think Cedric looks a lot like my dad in the last photo, he has more Mason than we thought!
